LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — Two adults and a child were displaced by a possible electrical fire this morning at a home in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.
The fire was reported just after 6 a.m. on the 7000 block of Quarry Road, near South Rainbow Boulevard and West Flamingo Road, according to a Clark County Fire Department news release.
Units from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue assisted on the call.
Upon arrival, crews reported a single-story home with smoke coming from the roof. The fire was knocked down just before 6:20 a.m.
Early reports are that an electrical issue with a bathroom fan may have contributed to the cause of the fire, but it has not been confirmed by investigators.
Red Cross was notified to assist with those displaced. There were no injuries reported. Damages have not been estimated.
The Clark County Fire Department strongly recommends that residents clean and maintain bathroom fans.
