Around 4:24 pm, CCFD responded to a report of a fire at the Sunrise Terrace Mobile Home Park, located at 2182 North Pecos near Lake Mead Boulevard.

The fire reportedly involved a fully involved, single wide mobile home.

The CCFD initially responded a "high" level structure fire response sending 4 engines, 1 truck, 1 rescue and two battalion chiefs; assistance was also provided by the North Las Vegas Fire Department. Additional units were requested upon the arrival of the first-in units; specifically, two additional trucks, two engines, a rescue and a third battalion chief responded as the fire went to a second alarm.
