LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Grab some gloves and trash bags, and get ready to clean up your local parks alongside other community members.
The 6th annual Public Lands Day celebration is here, and you can get involved.
The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 9 a.m. at Desert Breeze Park, located at 8275 W Spring Mountain Road.

This celebration is open to all ages, and food trucks, prizes, and games will be available to celebrate and educate the community about Nevada’s outdoor spaces.
The 2022 Public Lands Day celebration will close with a press conference featuring Congresswoman Dina Titus, Congresswoman Susie Lee, and other officials alongside local conservation groups to call for greater protection of federal lands.
