A small arsenal of guns, marijuana, meth and Xanax found at Chumlee's home
LAS VEGAS, Nv (KSNV News3LV) —
Pawn Stars celebrity Austin Lee Russell, better known as Chumlee, remains under a microscpe following his arrest last week at his Southwest Las Vegas home.
The official word from police is that the investigation is ongoing.
This week, News 3 obtained a copy of the arrest report which further reveals details of his arrest.
During a search of his home, the report says police found a locked floor vault in Chumlee's master bedroom. When police opened the vault, they found approximately 4 ounces of marijuana and about a dozen guns. Prior to opening the vault, Chumlee reportedly told detectives, "I smoke a lot of weed", but he also told police that he is not a drug dealer.
Detectives also found Xanax, Methamphetamine, and narcotics paraphanelia in other rooms in the home, including one police labeled as the, "Chum, Chum room with dance pole".
In a statement to News 3, the reality star's attorney, David Chesnoof, said, "We will be analyzing what was allegedly found and whether the alleged seizure was lawful in a courtroom, not in the media".
Police initially arrived at Chumlee's home with a search warrant related to a sexual assault allegation filed by an adult woman. Detectives reportedly collected bedding and clothing for use in DNA testing. The results have not been revealed.
For his part, Chumlee remains incognito. No word from the reality star, or sign of him since the arrest.
The Associated Press reports that Russell posted $62,000 bail and was released from jail pending a May 23 court date.
