About 200 rally for and against President Trump in Las Vegas

An estimated 200 people, sometimes loudly expressing their support for or feelings against President Donald Trump, attended a march near Trump Tower this afternoon.

"There were no issues," texted Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Grant Rogers. "It was mostly a pro-Trump crowd with I would say only a handful of anti-Trump people. There was no real march, just a lot of standing around."

The rally at 2000 N. Fashion Show Drive was one of 13 rallies planned in various cities across the nation Saturday in what was billed as a "March4Trump" event.

Similar marches were held in Minnesota, Florida, Colorado, Texas, Arizona and other states.

"Let's support our President and stop the hate," a news release stated. "Please join us in this effort to unite the citizens of this great country. Bring your signs and flags to support our President and his administration."

Some rallies resulted in minor clashes between people supporting Trump and those against his presidency.
