Children who have been victims of abuse and neglect were able to enjoy some holiday merriment Sunday, Dec. 16, at Green Valley Ranch’s Winter’s Village with ice skating, desserts and fresh hot cocoa.

The event was the result of a partnership with the local non-profit organization St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.

This is the second year for the event, which hopes to allow brothers and sisters to make lasting holiday memories with the help of the festive Winter’s Village, located at 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children has offered a community of healing and hope to children and young people for over 50 years, supporting those abused, neglected, exploited and homeless from ages zero to 25.

As its designated charity, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children will receive a portion of the proceeds from Winter’s Village for the holiday season.
