Air quality smoke advisory issued in Clark County ahead of New Year's fireworks

The Clark County Department of Air Quality is issuing a smoke advisory ahead of New Year's fireworks.

The department said in a statement that the advisory for Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 is for people who might be sensitive to air quality conditions.

Children, the elderly and people with respiratory and heart disease should consider staying indoors due to the smoke.
