Argument leads to shooting outside Walmart in North Las Vegas, one critical

One man is in critical condition after an argument turned into a shooting outside a Walmart store early Saturday.

"One suspect is in custody and the other person is critical at UMC," North Las Vegas Police Officer Aaron Patty told News 3. "They knew each other and were in some sort on an argument that escalated."

The man taken into custody was not injured, Patty said. Both men had handguns.

The shooting occurred about 7:30 a.m. outside the Walmart near North Decatur and Clark County 215.
