Astrid Silva talks DACA ruling and more on News 3 Today

Scores of protesters gathered outside the fifth district court of appeals in New Orleans as the future of a controversial Obama-era immigration program went back before a panel of federal judges.

At issue is a program called DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), the Biden Administration is challenging a Texas ruling that the program is unlawful.

DACA was created in 2012, during the Obama Administration as a way for undocumented immigrants 16 and under to get authorized work and avoid deportation.

Executive Director of Dream Big Nevada, Astrid Silva was on the show on Friday.
