Bartenders will gather at a PT's Tavern in Henderson this August to find out which of them has the best draft pouring skills.

The sixth annual Guinness Perfect Pint Challenge will be held at PT’s Ranch, located at 2430 E. Pebble Road in Henderson, Nev., starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25.

Ahead of the Guinness Perfect Pint Challenge, PT’s Ranch will serve complimentary pints of Guinness from 6 – 7 p.m. Bartenders from PT’s and other local venues from the Las Vegas Valley, including Flowing Tide Pub, Rí Rá Irish Pub and Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, will go head-to-head to see who can pour the most perfect pint of Guinness topped with a white, creamy foam. The competition will test pouring skills for Guinness Draught Stout, the world’s first nitrogenated beer, as well as a Black and Gold, a half-and-half mix of Guinness Draught and Guinness Blonde, in support of Vegas’ professional hockey team.

The competition will be judged by two Guinness brand ambassadors who will choose the top three winners based on pour angle, settle and presentation. A live DJ will perform hits throughout the competition. One winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000, a second-place winner will receive $500 and a third-place winner will receive $250. Guests are invited to join the excitement by competing for titles such as “Best Entertainment” and “Best Cheering.” The event will also feature a custom Snapchat filter as well as glass engraving by an Epilog Zing Laser from 8 – 10 p.m.
