Homicide investigation underway after body found in Henderson RV park


UPDATE, April 19 | Henderson Police are investigating a body found at a mobile home community as a homicide case.

In a statement released Thursday, police say officers responded to a tip about a possible body at about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 17.

They found the body inside a recreational vehicle in the 1800 block of Ward Drive, near Boulder Highway and Sunset Road.

No other details on the investigation are being released. The identity of the deceased male adult will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

This is the third homicide investigation in Henderson for 2018, according to police.

ORIGINAL | According to Officer Rod Pena with the Henderson Police Department, a body was found in the 1800 Block of Ward Drive near North Boulder Highway and East Sunset Road.

Investigators say they found a deceased male, and it is unknown whether his death was a homicide or due to natural causes.

No other information has been given at this time.
