Body found in pool of west Las Vegas apartment complex

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A body was found in the pool of a west Las Vegas apartment complex Thursday morning, according to police.

Officers got a call from someone reporting a body floating in the pool of a complex in the 2200 block of S. Fort Apache Road, near Sahara Avenue, said Lt. David Gordon with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

They arrived and called for medical personnel, who pronounced the person dead at the scene.

Authorities do not suspect foul play, Gordon said, but the investigation was still in its early stages.
