Camaro, driver sought in hit-and-run that killed pedestrian near Pahrump
PAHRUMP, Nev. (KSNV News3LV) —
Law enforcement is seeking the public's help in finding a vehicle and driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run early Friday.
Car parts found at the crash scene indicate the vehicle is a 2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The vehicle will have moderate left front end damage, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred about 1:30 a.m. Friday on State Route 160 near mile marker 8 when an unidentified 52-year-old man was illegally in the roadway in the right travel lane in front of the Camaro.
The man was struck and later was pronounced deceased on scene. The vehicle fled the scene. The Camaro was southbound on SR160 and may have been traveling to Las Vegas.
NHP is still investigating the crash.

The deceased male’s identification will be released by the Nye County Coroner’s Office.
The death marks the Nevada Highway Patrol-Southern Command’s 52nd fatal crash resulting in 54 fatalities this year.
