LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — The awning over the employee's entrance at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino caught fire, Friday night.
The fire took place on Bridger and 1st Street side of the hotel around 8:42 p.m.
Fire officials say the the fire was knocked down before crews made it to the scene.
The fire took place at the employee/delivery portion of the building, well away from guest areas. Only the awning was damaged.
Some firefighters remained on scene to assist getting smoke out of the hallways of the employee entrance.
No injuries were reported during the fire.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
