CCFD responds to High Roller after wheel temporarily stops moving

The Clark County Fire Department received multiple calls Saturday night, Jan. 19, with reports that the High Roller, the world’s largest observation wheel, at The Linq had stopped moving.

CCFD responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. accompanied by crews from the Las Vegas Fire Department.

According to Deputy Fire Chief Roy Session, shortly after crews arrived on the scene, the wheel began moving again.

Responding crews did not have to perform any rescues and no medical issues were reported as a result of the incident.
