LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas firm Paul Padda Law presented Cheyenne High School with a check for $33,000 on Tuesday to help with the school's academic, athletic and band programs.
The donations will help pay for a new scorer's table, ACT preparation resources and football helmets and pads. Some of the money will also go to the school band.
"One of the core tenets of our law firm has always been the notion that we have an obligation to give back to society and make a real difference in the community," attorney Paul Padda said in a statement.
Padda took part in a formal presentation with school principal Dr. Zachary Robbins. Siobhan Fergiels, director of bands, presented Padda with a drum pad signed by the members of the marching band.
