LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — After watching her grandmother struggle with Alzheimer's disease, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is making sure seniors get the care they need.
Cortez Masto visited local patients and staff at Nevada Senior Services Adult Day Care in Las Vegas on Friday.
She discussed her federal funding plan to support the daycare, Alzheimer’s care, respite care, and caregiver education programs.

Her bipartisan legislation to combat Alzheimer's disease was signed into law.
Cortez Masto is working to make healthcare more accessible by giving power to Medicare in negotiating drug prices, capping drug costs for seniors, and limiting price hikes by drug manufacturers.
