Cowboys & cowgirls are back in Las Vegas for National Finals Rodeo

The 2018 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo officially opens Thursday evening.

This is the 34th year the event has come to Las Vegas, and thousands of people from all over the world come out for the 10-day event.

The top rodeo athletes from around the world will be participating in events like bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding.

Last year nearly 169,000 people were in attendance. NFR and other events like Cowboy Christmas are estimated to have an $113 million economic impact in Las Vegas.
