Deadly crash on Highway 160 just outside of Pahrump

PAHRUMP, Nev. (KSNV) — The Nye County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash just outside of Pahrump Friday night.

According to the sheriff’s office, the crash occurred around 9:20 p.m.

The crash caused the closure of both sides of Highway 160.

Just after 10:00 p.m., deputies reported that at least one person had died as a result of the crash.

Traffic is moving in both directions, but very slowly, according to the sheriff’s office.
