Following Governor Sisolak’s order Friday afternoon that all nonessential businesses close across Nevada, the Department of Public Safety and Division of Emergency Management released the emergency regulations adopted during the coronavirus pandemic as well as a detailed list of what essential and nonessential businesses are.

Governor Sisolak had previously asked nonessential businesses to close to curb the spread of COVID-19, but many of these outlets remained open for business with little or no changes to their operations.

A list of all essential and nonessential businesses under the regulations can be found beginning on page 5 of the following document:

While essential businesses are allowed to stay open, they must still comply with social distancing guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as other health regulatory agencies.

They must also cease the operation of gaming machines and door-to-door solicitation as well as maintain strict social distancing practices.

The measures are in place, according to Governor Sisolak, until at least April 16.
