Donald Trump Jr. held a campaign rally for US Senate candidate Adam Laxalt and gubernatorial candidate Joe Lombardo in Las Vegas Friday. He also spent time attacking the Biden Administration and making fun of the January 6 insurrection.

“Make sure to take a friend, and if you do that, guess we can take back our country,” said Donald Trump Jr.

With days left to vote in the Republican US Senate primary, Donald Trump Jr. got a crowd of constituents fired up as he talked up Adam Laxalt and the republican party during a campaign rally.

“I thought it would take them much longer to destroy our country, and we’re not even halfway through Joe Biden's term, but let’s not blame this on Joe Biden. I know he’s a convenient scapegoat because he’s an idiot,” Trump Jr. said.

In addition to his attacks on Biden, Trump Jr. also criticized the FBI’s handling of the January 6 insurrection.

“If your grandmother was within 500-miles of Washington D.C and took a selfie, she was questioned by the FBI. If she was within a 100-mimes, she’s probably still in prison,” said Trump Jr.

Nevada’s senate race is one of the closely watched election battles in the country because it could shift the balance of power in Washington, D.C.

Voter Ralph Sommer, who says he was undecided before the event, says he knows now he plans to vote.

“The fact that Trump Jr. was here was the main draw, but I think I made up my mind. It’s Joe all the way and Adam all the way,” said Sommer, a Henderson resident.
