LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — Eight people are being assisted by the American Red Cross after their apartment caught fire, Friday night.
Joh Klassen with CCFD says they received reports of a fire in the 4600 block of Monterey Circle near Tropicana and Paradise at 8:02 p.m.
When crews arrived on the scene, flames and smoke were reported coming from the downstairs apartment in a 2-story, 8-plex multifamily building.
The fire was knocked down within 11 minutes of crews arriving on the scene.
While the fire was contained to a single apartment, several others were damaged by smoke. Power was turned off to the building which displaced eight adults who are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
