The city of Las Vegas offers two opportunities to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with festivals at the East Las Vegas Community Center and outdoors at the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza in Lorenzi Park.
The events will take place on Friday, May 5, from 4 to 9 pm at both the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza, located at 720 Twin Lakes Drive, and the East Las Vegas Community Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave.
Those in attendance will be able to enjoy a variety of food and artisan vendors, as well as Mexican bands, mariachi, and dancing.
Both events are free and open to the public.

The Cinco de Mayo fiesta kicks off at 5 pm with the Las Vegas High School Mariachi Band and features performances by the following highly acclaimed Mexican bands:

Local food truck favorites, like Good Bad Delicious, I Heart Tacos, Cocktail Carts, and Happy Ending Chocolate, will be available throughout the Cinco de Mayo festivities.
To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, The LINQ Promenade will offer delectable food and beverage specials, plus live Mariachi band performances and other festive celebrations throughout the holiday weekend.
On Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, a live mariachi band will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. At nighttime, High Roller Observation Wheel will feature a dedicated red, green, and white colored light show in celebration.
On Friday, May 5th, from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Downtown Container Park invites revelers to live 'la vida loca’ for a Cinco De Mayo-inspired beer festival!
From 7 to 10 p.m., amigos y amigas can celebrate the holiday with $50 bottomless Micheladas, Teremana Tequila and Producer Mezcal margaritas and cervezas including Corona, Pacifico, and Modelo on The Lawn.
Baja Miguel’s, located inside South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa, will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a special menu from May 5 - 7. From 4—10 p.m., guests can enjoy a three-course meal for $24.95, which includes a glass of wine or house margarita for those 21+.
The Mexican eatery will feature guest favorites such as Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes, Spicy Shrimp and Watermelon Cocktails, Crispy Fish Tacos, Carnitas El Pastor Tacos, traditional Chocolate Flan, and more. The regular menu will also be available.
There are no siestas, only fiestas at Borracha Mexican Cantina! This Cinco de Mayo, the Mexican restaurant located at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, will say "¡salud!" with a night of nonstop fun, including a live mariachi band, DJ and tequila specials from 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday, May 5.
Cinco celebrators can soak up the lively atmosphere with festive tunes from a live mariachi band from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by electric beats from DJelani from 7 to 11 p.m.
Guests can also sip on one of Borracha's signature margaritas, such as the mango margarita, made with Espolon tequila, mango, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar.
Enjoy a unique performance by the world’s first and only heavy metal mariachi band, Metalachi, as they perform classic metal covers fused with classic mariachi at Veil Pavilion at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 5. Tickets to see the former America’s Got Talent contestants are on sale now, starting at $30.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo all day at Mi Casa Grill Cantina. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can enjoy a tasty lunch buffet, which includes a 16 oz. house margarita, priced at $45 per person. Additionally, dinner specials will be available from 4-9 p.m., including the tenderloin fundido made with beef tenderloin medallions, caramelized onions, chipotle demi and manchego fundido served with jalapeños stuffed with asadero cheese and shrimp wrapped in applewood smoked bacon. Celebrate the spirit of Mexico through traditional music and drinks at the El Cortez Hotel & Casino. On Friday, May 5 from 6 – 9 p.m., the hotel will offer a special performance by a local mariachi band alongside drink specials available all-month long, including $6 Coronas, Modelos, and Don Julio Margaritas.
From 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 5, the Mariachi de Mexico band will perform live throughout the casino floor. Drink specials will also be available at select bar locations.
Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, located in Downtown Summerlin, will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a live mariachi band and drink specials in its cantina on Friday, May 5.
Pancho’s Cinco de Mayo celebration will feature a live mariachi band playing festive tunes from noon - 4 p.m. Guests can toast the day with $3 off house and flavored margaritas, well cocktails and house wines from 2 – 5 p.m.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Trustworthy Brewing Co.! Located at Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort, the iconic brewery will offer complimentary chips and guacamole for all guests who order a 24 oz. michelada, made with gigil rice pilsner, clamato, and spices with a cayenne rim.
It’s a 24-hour fiesta at El Dorado Cantina on Cinco de Mayo!
Starting at 11 a.m., festivities at the Tivoli Village location include a block party with a beer garden and cocktail bar featuring $8 drafts, $12 pineapple Modelo agua frescas, $15 Casamigos margaritas and $18 Casamigos palomas and flavored margaritas; an ice sculpture with Patrón shots, and a taco stand in the streets featuring the choice of Carne Asada, Pulled Chicken, Al Pastor, or Rajas for $7 each or 3 for $18. A DJ, live band and artists from Recycled Propaganda will be painting as part of the celebration.

Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will host a two-day Cinco de Mayo fiesta complete with shrimp cocktails, handcrafted drinks, a live DJ and more, starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6.
