Firefighters battle mobile home fire near Mt. Hood, Carey

LAS VEGAS (KSNV NEWS3LV) — Firefighters were on the scene of a blaze on Tuesday.

It was reported around 11:03 p.m. at 2568 Athena Drive, near Mt. Hood and Carey Avenue.

Upon arrival, personnel reported a double-wide mobile home that was fully involved with fire. Crews fought the fire defensively (from the exterior) and had the fire knocked down in approximately 15 minutes. The fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported. It is unknown if anyone was displaced as a result of the incident or if the services of American Red Cross will be required. Damages have been described as a total loss, but they have not been estimated.
