This just in. The NHL announces that water is wet. Also, that Golden Knights goalie Marc-Andre Fleury was named to the 2019 NHL All-Star team.

This comes as no surprise considering Fleury leads the NHL in wins (23), starts (37) and shutouts (6), earning his most recent shutout in a 2-0 win over the LA Kings.

The NHL All-Star Weekend will be held January 25-26 at SAP Center in San Jose, California.

This will be the fourth All-Star Game for Fleury, as he previously appeared in the 2011, 2015 and 2018 All-Star Games.

Last year in Tampa, Florida, he won the shootout competition, stopping 14 consecutive shooters, and he helped lead the Pacific Division to victory.
