LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Garth Brooks has postponed his Allegiant Stadium concert by six months amid the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
The stadium concert was originally scheduled for Aug. 22, but will now be held on Feb. 27, the country star announced Wednesday.
All tickets purchased for the August concert will be honored for the new date.
The postponement comes as no surprise, as large-scale events with live audiences are still not permitted in Nevada due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Brooks' concert would have been the first major event held at Allegiant Stadium upon its completion.
