LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Global Winter Wonderland, a lantern festival and multicultural theme park, will make its Las Vegas debut this holiday season, Dec. 14, 2018 – Jan. 20, 2019 in the north lot of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
At Global Winter Wonderland, guests will be able to travel around the world in one night while viewing the larger-than-life lantern designs of landmarks from all seven continents.
"I came from Chicago and I’ve never seen anything this pretty," one child said.
"I bought the tickets but I really didn’t know what to expect but to come out here and see it especially at night it’s just amazing," one visitor said.
General admission tickets are $23 for adults and $19 for children ages 4 – 12 and seniors, plus tax and fees. Ticket prices for Nevada residents with valid I.D. are $19 for adults and $17 for children ages 4 – 12 and seniors, plus tax and fees.
Parking is free and available onsite. Hours of operation are 5 – 11 p.m. Dec. 14 - 23, Dec. 26 – 30 and Jan. 2 – 20; and 4:30 – 11 p.m. Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.
