Help Find Murphy: Disabled Veteran's service dog missing from Centennial Hills

A desperate search to find a local disabled veteran's service dog named Murphy. He went missing in Centennial Hills

Jacki Scaturro is on a desperate search to find Murphy, her neighbor’s service dog before it’s too late.

“My neighbor is fighting for his life. He’s been in the hospital just over two weeks, he was on life support for about five days,” Scaturro said.

    Murphy is a Belgian Malinois.

“He’s mostly brown with a black face and black paws,” Scaturro said.

Scaturro’s neighbor 72-year-old Morris Collins a disabled veteran, has been in the hospital battling cancer.

It's a fight that's become even harder to deal with without Murphy his dog, his friend who Scaturro says has even saved his life.

“My neighbor was putting groceries in his car and somebody went to carjack him and Murphy stopped him,” Scaturro said.

Murphy went missing from Morris' home in Centennial Hills two weeks ago.

Scaturro says he was last seen on Oso Blanca and Durango near the 95.

Soon, Morris will be on hospice.

Scaturro says his wish is to have Murphy there right beside him.

“Bringing Murphy back home to him even in the short time that he has left, it’ll mean everything to him. I just want to bring him home,” Scaturro said.
