Las Vegas (KSNV) — Some long-term teachers at one Henderson private school are being recognized for their decade's worth of work during a recent celebration.
The three principals at Henderson Internation School put together an after-school celebration for the teachers on Wednesday, November 16.
The event recognized the long-term employees who have been with the school for over ten years.
Honorees received gifts varying from Southwest tickets, gift cards for spa days, and restaurants.

One of the principals says that with the nationwide teacher shortage, it's important to thank and remind staff for everything they do.
"We always want to show our appreciation to our staff, but it is especially important right now with the teacher shortage to show them how much we value them," said Carmen Benedict, lower school principal at Henderson International School.
