The bet is on for the Western Conference Final.

The mayors of Las Vegas and Dallas have made their wagers when it comes to the playoff matchup between the Golden Knights and Stars.

Dallas Mayor Eric L. Johnson challenged his counterpart, Carolyn Goodman, with an offer of a "genuine Stetson" from Wild Bill's Western Store if Vegas wins the series.

Goodman countered with one of the original lights from the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

"You know you should never bet against Las Vegas [Mayor Johnson] but I do love a Cowboy hat, so I am all in!" the Las Vegas mayor tweeted.

Goodman is already ahead when it comes to playoff wagers. Edmonton Mayor Amarjeet Sohi had to follow through on his bet by wearing a Golden Knights jersey to a city council meeting this week after Vegas defeated the Oilers in the second round.

Harry Reid International Airport later got in on the fun, making a wager of their own.

LAS initiated the bet with Dallas/Fort Worth International, saying that the losing airport must post a picture of their Airport Director wearing the opposing team's jersey.

DFW has yet to respond to the challenge.
