LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — On Tuesday around 3:53 p.m. the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to a shooting.

The shooting occurred in the 3700 block of Royal Crest Street near Twain Avenue and Paradise Road.

Officers arrived at the scene, located the victim who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

Investigators believe the victim, a white male in his 40s, and another person got into an altercation in the back alley when several gunshots were fired at the victim.

Medical personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

No suspect is in custody.
