LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating a deadly shooting Tuesday evening that took place in the central valley.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to the Speedee Mart at 2980 East Tropicana after reports of gunfire and an adult male who had been shot inside the store.

A 48-year-old male was located suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to Sunrise where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators believe the victim got into some kind of verbal altercation with a black female inside the store. The woman left and returned with an adult black male who was in possession of a firearm. The man shot the victim and fled with the woman.

The suspects are outstanding.

This is an ongoing investigation.
