Instead, the spring semester is coming to an end in near silence.

COVID-19 forced students and faculty off-campus.

Dr. Michelle Paul with “The Practice” mental health clinic at UNLV, and she's moved all appointments to on-line sessions while making sure patients still have access to the help they need.

"We’re providing seamless care. No missed sessions. We’re also training. The next-generation workforce is still moving forward.

Over at Overton Psychological Services, Marriage and Family Therapist Geri Smith has gone virtual too.

She's hearing from a growing number of clients laid off due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Now more than ever, they're looking to talk through their anxiety.

She says, "It’s going to take a while to bounce back. Especially in our city which is hospitality. A lot of people furloughed. We talk about who we’re going to be after the quarantine."
