Lawsuit claims Faraday Future didn't pay for $1.8 million CES visual effects presentation

New trouble has arisen for electric carmaker Faraday Future – this time, the trouble revolves around the unveiling of this model at the consumer electronics show here earlier this month.

Faraday is now being sued for $1.8 million by The Mill Group – the studio that made the visual effects for the presentation.

The Mill Group claims that Faraday Future refuses to pay that bill, according to auto industry website Jalopnik.

The mill group says it's only been paid $20,000. The carmaker has not commented on the lawsuit.

Construction of a Faraday plant in North Las Vegas was suspended late last year. At the time, faraday said they needed more time to develop the concept car.
