LVMPD: Suspect wanted in deadly shooting near Wyoming, Industrial
FRIDAY 1:30 P.M. UPDATE | Police say they are looking for a woman suspected in the deadly shooting of a man on W. New York Avenue Thursday.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say Kayla Biron has been identified as a suspect after officers responded to a report of a man shot in an alley around 3:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10.
According to a statement from LVMPD, investigators learned the victim was in the area to pick up a motorcycle. He was pushing it down the alley when he was confronted by a woman, identified as Biron.
The two got into an argument, and Biron allegedly took out a shotgun and shot the victim, police say.
Biron ran away from the scene and was seen getting into a gray SUV. Investigators learned the motorcycle was passed around among several people, and that there was an ongoing dispute between the victim and Biron.
Detectives are searching for Biron, and anyone with information is asked to contact LVMPD's Homicide Section at (702) 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the man killed as Jonathon Louis Burgos, 36. He died from a shotgun wound to the head, and the manner of death has officially been ruled a homicide.

ORIGINAL | The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting near Wyoming Avenue and Industrial Road.
The shooting took place just after 3;35 p.m., in the 200 block of West New York Avenue.
According to police, a friend called police stating their friend was shot and a woman ran into an alley.
The victim was taken to UMC. Their condition is not known at this time.
