Make-A-Wish grants wish for Las Vegas woman

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Southern Nevada Make-A-Wish staff of volunteers once again made a wish come true for a Las Vegas resident.

Lauren C. was diagnosed with a brain tumor at birth. Now at age 18, she still needs chemotherapy and bi-weekly eye doctor appointments that require traveling to Phoenix.

Her request from Make-A-Wish was to receive a puppy.

Saturday the nonprofit granted Lauren's wish with a Golden Retriever puppy delivered by a car parade to her home.
