Man critically injured in northeast valley shooting
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
A man has life-threatening injuries after a shooting reported late Thursday night in the northeast valley, according to authorities.
Officers responded around 10:20 p.m. to a report of a shooting on the 3900 block of White Cedar Drive, near Alexander and Walnut roads, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say.
They arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a car. That person has been taken to a hospital, and injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
According to LVMPD, homicide detectives are taking over the investigation because of the nature of the injuries.
No other details were immediately provided.
