LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A special memorial on Friday gave the Las Vegas community a chance to remember the fathers and father figures they've lost.

Adam's Place organized the Lights of Love Memorial in downtown Summerlin.

Attendees could take part in a vigil and launch floating luminaries in the water.

Organizers of the memorial say the upcoming Father's Day can be a difficult time for people who have lost someone close to them.
