Motorcyclist dies after crashing at Hualapai, Town Center

A motorcyclist died after crashing Tuesday night in the west valley, according to authorities.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say the crash was reported just before 9 p.m. on Town Center Drive at the roundabout intersection with Hualapai Way.

A white 2017 Jiangsu motorcycle was heading north on Town Center when it failed to make the right turn at the roundabout.

The bike drove into the landscaping in the median and hit a palm tree, according to LVMPD.

The rider, identified as a 32-year-old California man, was taken to UMC, where he was pronounced dead.

The fatality marks the 59th traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police jurisdiction for 2018 so far.
