Nevada secures $63.5 million to upgrade drinking water infrastructure
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada has secured more than $63.5 million in federal funding to upgrade drinking water infrastructure around the state.
The funding comes from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund established by the Environmental Protection Agency, according to U.S. Rep. Dina Titus.

"I supported and voted for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law because of investments like this one which will help ensure access to safe, clean drinking water for my constituents and communities across Nevada," Titus said in a statement.
Nevada is one of several states to receive funding via the EPA's fund. The agency found in its seventh infrastructure needs survey and assessment that the 20-year national need for states is estimated at $625 billion.
