Nevada State Police investigate deadly crash on Summerlin Parkway

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada State Police are investigating a deadly crash in the northwest part of the valley Monday evening.

At approximately 4:45 p.m., troopers responded scene on Summerlin Parkway EB, between Durango and Buffalo, after reports of a rollover involving a red Chevy pickup.

Investigators believe the pickup was headed eastbound on Summerlin Parkway when traffic slowed ahead of him. The adult male driver swerved to avoid hitting traffic, lost control and overturned.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Traffic is being diverted off Summerlin Parkway EB at Rampart.

Avoid the area if possible.
