A new venue bag policy is going into effect for events at UNLV venues.

According to UNLV Tickets, the policy will be effective Oct. 9 for the Thomas and Mack Center, Sam Boyd Stadium, and Cox Pavilion.

Fans will be able to carry the following style and sizes of bags at venue entrances or when approaching lines awaiting entry:

    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches.
    • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag, like a Ziploc bag or similar.
    • Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap, can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.

According to UNLV Tickets, an exception will be made for medically-necessary items after proper inspection.

If an item does not meet the above specifications, it will be not allowed into the venue.

Prohibited items include purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, non-approved seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags, camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.
