LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — New lanes and ramps are going to open on Interstate 15 in the next couple of days, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
On Wednesday, Oct. 31, a travel lane will open on northbound I-15 between Sahara and D Street at about 6 a.m.
The northbound off-ramps to D Street/Washington Avenue and Charleston Boulevard are also due to open, though the latter will only have access to eastbound Charleston.
On Thursday, Nov. 1, a travel lane will open on the southbound side of I-15. A new southbound off-ramp will open to Sahara Avenue/Highland Drive as well.
The changes are part of Project Neon, the I-15 widening project that is 85 percent complete, according to NDOT.
