No injuries reported in two-alarm apartment fire west of Strip
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
Nobody was injured in a fire in a second-story apartment several blocks west of the Strip early Sunday.
About 5:15 a.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the Wynn Palm Apartments, 3880 Wynn Rd.
CCFD sent four engines, one truck, a rescue unit, and two battalion chiefs which included resources from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, according to CCFD Deputy Chief Roy Session.
Upon arrival, personnel reported smoke and flame showing from the second story of a two-story apartment complex.
Two additional engines and one additional truck were requested to assist with the fire.
The fire was found in a bedroom of the apartment. Firefighters made an offensive attack and knocked the fire down at a reported time of 5:30 a.m.
Damage has not been estimated. The fire is under investigation and there were no reported injuries.
