Officers looking for suspect in armed robbery of business near Flamingo and Sandhill

Officers are looking for a man accused of robbing a business in the east valley.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the armed robbery was reported around 10:30 a.m. Nov. 23 at a retail business near the intersection of East Flamingo and Sandhill roads.

One suspect entered the business to steal merchandise and after a few minutes, the suspect attempted to leave the business with the stolen merchandise but was confronted by an employee. The suspect then pulled out a weapon to make his escape.

No employees were injured and the suspect fled the area with the stolen merchandise and was not unable to be located.

According to LVMPD, the suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20's, around 5-foot-5 with a thin build, and was wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt and dark jeans.
