LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — UPDATE 10:50 PM| According to RTC, Boulder Highway southbound has reopened, but Desert Inn Road and Lamb Boulevard northbound remains closed.
ORIGINAL| The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to an auto-pedestrian crash in the east valley Thursday night.
According to Lt. Young, the crash occurred at Boulder Highway and Desert Inn Road around 8:40 p.m.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The intersection is closed but for two southbound lanes on Boulder Highway.
Nevada Highway Patrol is in charge of investigating the crash, Lt. Young said, while LVMPD assists with traffic control.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
No other details were immediately available.
