LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — One person suffered minor smoke inhalation and 10 people were displaced when fire damaged two condos in the west valley early Saturday afternoon.

The fire occurred about 1 p.m. in the 7300 block of Pirates Cove Road near North Buffalo and Summerlin Parkway, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.

The person was treated on the scene and released.

A spokeswoman for the American Red Cross said eight adults and two children are receiving assistance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, said LVF&R spokesman Tim Szymanski.
