One suffers smoke inhalation, 10 displaced in west valley condo fire

One person suffered minor smoke inhalation and 10 people were displaced when fire damaged two condos in the west valley early Saturday afternoon.

The fire occurred about 1 p.m. in the 7300 block of Pirates Cove Road near North Buffalo and Summerlin Parkway, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.

The person was treated on the scene and released.

A spokeswoman for the American Red Cross said eight adults and two children are receiving assistance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, said LVF&R spokesman Tim Szymanski.
