LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — According to NV Energy, approximately 13,493 were without power in the Summerlin area.
NV Energy's website targets the power outage in the area of Summerlin Pkwy between Anasazi and Town Center, with the cause coming in just after 6 p.m. Sunday.
As of this time, it appears that the causes of the outage include a transformer problem and equipment failure.
According to RTC, the traffic signals on CC-215 at multiple exits including Summerlin Pkwy and Lake Mead are experiencing outages.
NV Energy originally projected restoration of power by 8:45 p.m. tonight, but have since updated that to 8 p.m.
By 7:45 p.m. power was restored to at least 10,000 of those customers affected by the outage, with around 3,100 still waiting for power to come back on. A few minutes later, power was fully restored to all in the area.
