LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
A woman was taken to a hospital with critical injuries after she was hit by a car Tuesday night in the northeast valley, according to authorities.
Two people were crossing E. Lake Mead Boulevard outside of a crosswalk east of N. Lincoln Road just before 10 p.m., said Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
A 2013 Hyundai Elantra was heading west on Lake Mead, and the driver swerved to avoid one pedestrian but struck the other, police say.
