Employee shot and killed during robbery at Henderson jewelry store; suspect at large

A woman was shot and killed during an armed robbery tonight at a Henderson jewelry store, and the suspect remains at large.

The victim was identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as 57-year-old Kimberlee Ann Kincaid-Hill of Henderson. Her official cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest and the manner was ruled a homicide.

The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. at Jared The Galleria of Jewelry, 1071 E. Sunset Road, according to Henderson Police Department spokeswoman Michelle French. The victim was an employee at the store.

The victim was taken to Sunrise Trauma. where she died.

The suspect, described as a black male adult, was last seen running westbound on Sunset. He was wearing a mask, maroon, hoodie-type sweat shirt and a dark beanie. He might have also been wearing a backpack.

It is the second robbery at an area Jared this month. The location at 2110 N. Rainbow Blvd. near West Lake Mead in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, was held up at gunpoint on Jan. 3.
